What we do
Museum Technologies uses proprietary software developed and launched by Asif earlier this year. This service captures and maintains all the known facts about the items in a collection. The data is provided by researchers, collectors and galleries around the world, and includes as much as is known about the object to give it a unique identity: how, when, where and by whom it was made, its original description (dimensions, colouration), its history and uses, and the symbols it displays and embodies.
Whether you are looking to document your collection or learn more about the history behind the pieces, we have the software and tools that can help get you organised. Utilising a wide variety of parameters, you will be able to create a dedicated catalogue of all the valued work in your collection, to which you and others can refer at any time.
If it's additional information about a specific object from your collection that you want to know more about, we have experienced consultants and researchers on staff who leave no stone unturned in pursuit of insights such as the historical significance, context or symbology of your piece of art.
How this service is offered
This service is available as a software as a service offering and can be purchased for use internally, or on an account management basis whereby Museum Technologies will maintain the database using information provided by the museum.
